About DavtonIn 2003 I was a Sales Manager in the Telecoms industry looking for a better solution to manage and track the activities of my team. I discovered a CRM solution which worked ‘inside Outlook’, enhancing rather than changing the way my team worked. I was so impressed with the results that I set up Davton Consulting to sell and support business solutions based on Outlook. Initially selling and supporting a third party CRM system, Davton quickly built up an international customer base. As we grew in experience and skills, we were increasingly asked to provide custom developments to meet needs not catered for elsewhere. For example our synchronisation products came out of a growing need for customers to take their shared contacts with them when they left the office. The custom solutions element has now grown to the point where we no longer sell third party systems, and custom solutions are the bulk of our business. With my marketing background, and the nature of Outlook, its not surprising to find that many of our custom developments are Sales and Marketing solutions such as Contact Management, Sales Tracking, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. Davton operates out of offices in Beverley - East Yorkshire (UK). We keep support costs low, and response times short by using the latest support tools via telephone and the internet. With customers ranging from large multi-national organisations and regional government offices to one man companies, we try to keep our solutions simple and our support personal.
